My name is Rachel and I don’t want to give you here a meaningless list of ways to work from your home and make money building your own small home based business. Or share with you the top list of work from home opportunities. I will tell you my story hopping you can pull from it the best way for you to work from home and make money.

Let me be honest very honest with you, I am working from home and running my own home based business for 5 years. And I am very happy I choose to go this way 5 years ago. Otherwise I may be still behind the coffee machine and stil working 10 hours a day just to have a respectful life.

I still work hard, and about 8 hours a day each day, 7 days a week, but I work from home, on my own schedule and most of all I love doing what I am doing. Staying at home is also a huge advantage for me, not only because it alone can save me a lot of money but also being here at home for my two lovely kids and be with them for each new adventure and share them their life experience is worth the world for me.

Let me tell you how I started:

One day a customer came in to the coffee shop I worked at, he had a laptop when a laptop was a weird thing. He ordered coffee and sat down working on his laptop and drinking coffee a cup after the other for more than 4 hours, never looked around like there is no one around him, nothing could disturb him and he was very focused.

When he asked for the check, I had to ask him what was very interesting about his computer and what he was working at. It took him about 30 minutes to explain to me what he was doing and why.

He had a website and he was promoting his website, and he explained to me that this website is his business and the money that was earned from that website in a single day, was more than the money I was making in a full month. Basically in his 4 hours work he was making more money than I make in a full hard work month.

This 30 minutes conversation have change my life totally, I started immediately to learn how to build a website, and how to make money with that website, I cannot lie to you, it was a very hard task for me to learn the subject and do it correctly. To be honest I started with several topic, I have even tried to build an adult website. I was lost for more than 2 years trying to learn and at least doing one thing right.

This is an interesting topic and i believe this is the new era after recession where companies will outsource there work to other people who are ready to work from home and ask for less money then the people who are coming on the board.

What I think about Site Build It is it’s a software to create a website. That’s all I knew. Working from home through affiliate marketing is something that I would like to consider in the future.

I think a lot of people still believe that it;s easy to create you website and start making a lot of money. But they do not really know that every blogger began with pure enthusiasm and had to work his hands to the bone to make at least some money.
